That's My Little Story...
Up until 2018 my life had been pretty ordinary. Then something happened…
My short name is Katia. I’m originally from Latvia. I lived in my small country of Latvia until I was 24, and after I graduated university (in Economics and Finances) I moved to England and started work in Rye, where I met my perfect - well almost perfect - man. Everything was very normal, very ordinary. We bought a house, we worked hard, and after nine years together we had two wonderful children.
Then in 2018 he was diagnosed with lung cancer. The tumour was removed completely and all started to look pretty good again. But a short time after, doctors told us the cancer had returned, and so began our journey of living with cancer… Two years later, in 2020, my fiancé was taken away from us. The formal cause of death was lung cancer. But after looking into the medical records and considering his other symptoms, I believe that was not the case.
We are all masters of our own destiny
After such a big shock I really started looking into alternative ways of helping my family and other people to improve life. I’d always had an interest in the spirits and the unknown, and also for Tarot, for questioning and for trying to see answers amongst confusion. I’d never had to question life so hard as I did right then. So I bought my first Tarot deck and some Tarot cards reading books, and I signed up for a Tarot course, and that’s how my next journey began.
I believe that nothing is set in stone and that everyone is a master of their own destiny. We do not know how long we have left to live in this world, but it is in our hands to make our choices and build our best life.
